This role is crucial in ensuring our guests receive meals that are accurate to what they ordered and includes everything they ask for.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Finish the prep on plates after the line cooks place them in the window.

  • Learn and master reading order tickets and placing the correct side items on condiments on each dish.

  • Ensure that the line cooks have accurately plated the order on their side.

  • Maintain attention to food presentation.

  • Maintain proper labeling and storage of all prepped food and sauces.

  • Perform closing duties at the end of the night.

  • Communicate effectively between front and back of house.

  • Run food to tables when servers are busy.

This position also requires the care and maintenance of cast iron skillets, plates, bowls, and other dishes used in the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain an industrial dishwasher, ensuring all dishes are cleaned thoroughly and efficiently.

  • Care for cast iron skillets and other specialty items, maintaining their quality and longevity.

  • Keep the dish pit clean and organized at all times.

  • Ensure dishes, utensils, and kitchenware are stocked and readily available for kitchen staff.

  • Assist in maintaining a smooth and steady flow of dishwashing during busy hours.

  • Maintain a positive attitude and work well with kitchen staff and other team members.

  • Help with food prep and salad bar as needed.
